winter day in the park

While the weather has yet to get much better, the kids were starting to get a little "stir-crazy", so we took mommy out to a park we have been to a couple of times - Orchards Park - for a little letterboxing. The kids get a blast out of watching mommy try to solve the clues on hunts they have already done. And it came with a bonus - Mary found her first Hitch hiker!

Despite the gloom and drizzle (don't the pictures look like night time, instead of 3:00!) we had another grand adventure.

Sean working on learning to scooter.

Of course big sister has it down pretty well...

Mary getting ready to stamp in.

It's rare to get to do this without little hands helping...

And, of course, we have to play in the park a bit:

The kids love these 'sit-n-spin' seats at the playground.

Look how high I can go!

Yes - it's really high (for him).

They also love this spinner...

I really love that they play together so nice!
