A letterboxing 'meet & greet' was held in Lacey, WA to say goodbye to a local letterboxing family as they moved to a new military post back East. We had only met the Weatherleys at the Spring Flinger, but it was a good excuse to meet up with some friends, and then go 'boxing some more...

Just after the event we went looking for a couple boxes at a local park. We ended up at the wrong end, and had to drive all the way around to get to the start...

They asked us if we wanted to join up...

After the first couple boxes, the kids took their mom to the playground, and I got to go slacker 'boxing (following along with someone else who has the clues and still getting the stamps...) with the ladies. I forgot to take any pictures, however. :-(

After we parted company with them (they were headed north, and we were headed south), we went to this really cool sculpture park near Tenino .
